Azusagawa SA’s exclusive sweets include: “Azumino funwari-otsukisama”, a premium Japanese madeleine cake made by all local Shinshu ingredients such as Shinshu made “Shinano-no-megumi” flour, pasture-raised Shinshu egg, Komagane made black sesame, Shinshu apple “Shinano-gold”. “Ringo-no-tsubasa”, a mellow apple tart baked with almond cream covered with plenty of Shinshu apple “Shinano-sweet”.

Azumino Yogurt Drink
Made by using the raw milk from local Shinshu Azumino farm, it is a stabilizer free natural yogurt drink with a rich and full-flavored smooth taste.

Matsumoto Temari (Japanese handball)
A craftsmanship from the castle town of Matsumoto since the middle of the Edo period. Also known as the “handball of good fortune”, there was a custom for every daughter to marry to carry the handball as an symbol of happiness.
Because of its beautiful design, Matsumoto Temari has become a popular international souvenir.
